Albin Aronsson

Albin writes on European and Eurasian related security and defense affairs. He served in the Swedish Armed Forces before commencing his Political Science studies, and received his B.S. from Uppsala University in Sweden. His publications have been featured on the Atlantic Council, The Swedish Royal Academy of War Sciences and Newsweek. Albin is starting his MA at the Department of War Studies at King’s College London in 2017.

Blake Franko

Blake covers topics on defense and foreign policy, primarily in Russia and Eurasia. He received his B.A. from Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University in 2014.  His publications have been featured at the Atlantic Council, the National Interest, the American Conservative and others. Blake is currently pursuing his M.A. in Security Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Nicholas Varangis

Nicholas covers topics on military and international affairs. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2014 with a B.A. in History and International Relations. His writing has been featured at the Atlantic Council and the National Interest, and referenced by the BBC, CSIS, and others. Nicholas is interested in military history, having spent a year studying at Wadham College, Oxford University.
